For so many years of friendship, we seldom do bbq. So somewhere out of the blue, we were chatting on msn. The conversation was like this:

Ivy: Hey wana do bbq?
Shumei: Eh i was talking about it also to pui of doing bbq. Good good..where?
Ivy: i went to check out the parks le..but duno why all fully booked. then how?
Shumei: There's a bbq area under my block. I go back and check..
Ivy: Oh ya hor, my place downstairs also have le..I try my place..if dun have you check yours..yishun more accessible to everyone..

So there..we managed to book the pit..!!

*sighs* Thought we are supposed to have steamboat dinner last week..sadded -___-
I'll be shifting house soon people, in Aug or Sep (I think), but no worries, my new place is still at Khatib (Blk 617), just located at the other side of the station. It's a smaller place (3A flat)so my mum wants me and sis to sleep in the master bedroom. I know Pui is like very concerned, msg me last nite "How come suddenly wana move?!?" Dun worrie la..I didn't 'kiam ah long' LOL. My mum has been looking around since early this year, because my sis and me will be shifting out in 2-3 yrs time since we've got our new flats, she thought can buy a smaller house so in future she can stay there with my dad. Most important, cleaning area not so big !! We've sold our flat on Sunday. This PRC guy came with the agent, walked in my house for merely 5mins, i was washing the dishes then. After 5mins, the agent came in, told my mum that PRC guy wants my flat and is placing a deposit!?! At that point of time, my mum was like "huh? So fast? I havent even found a house le!" So very quickly, the next day, my mum found this Blk 617 flat. The agent must be laughing all the way to the bank la..2 days only lor, earn the commission from 2 flats. $*&#(@!)#&%&@(#@

The place is clean, the owner now is a middle-age man staying with his mum. However, the moment i walked in, I saw my mum's look on her face, its like "Hmm, this place looks not bad, convenient, has a coffeeshop just next block, clean...okay la, ONZ!"

They have a wardrobe in the master bedroom. We don't really like it because it's already occupied like 1/3 of the room. So last nite at a discussion, we've decided to hack it, then we will shop for ours at Ikea. Need to also change the metal gate and the main door and the toilet bowls..I will not be shifting the current furnitures there, probably will just buy.

Now i have a headache, my tons of CDs i've accumulated since 10 yrs ago, how am i going to do with them? Haha..so i bought a 160GB external hard disk, started copying the songs from the CDs last nite. By the time I finished, i will just dump them away except those i think I will wana keep. So people out there, wana buy? I sell $1 per pc. Can you imagine i still have those from "TCS" albums like 阳光系列..and the Japanese albums from Speed (the 4 Jap girls)..WAH LAU..Super retro lor.

To Lee, Pui, B the 烂赌鬼s, though my new place is smaller than now, i still have space for the mj table la..wahahaha. I can confirm my dad will sure continue to jio lor..

Must meet up soon k? I miss you guys*...

Its realli been quite a while since i did, or ever updated this blog, gosh look at those dust on it haha..

Been having lots of thoughts and dreams abt the future .. Something which we all can't predict, see , afraid of , but yet all wanting and anxious to know. amazing huh.
This year might have just started , but yet many obstacles are being placed ahead of us, Hey ppl , press on, if there's a will , there's a way . That i believe, don even deny urself with that chance to achieve greatness.. sounds like the guinness advert man cheez hahaha. Anyway very soon i'll b joining u guys n the world in this rat race, slogging our lives jus 4 survival, nasty as it is but its all part of being human. Jus like the weather, after the rain , u often see the rainbow , so don always deem life as unhappy , keep stayin positive.
when u think u alone ain;t strong enuf, there's us ard , better keep that in mind u all.

So hang in there guys!! we have lots n lots more memories to create in this life as frens, so don;t u dare let go .

Bangkok 2008 - 26 to 29 January 2008

These people are damn lazy to update the blog lor..especially xxxxx (u know who).

Yup..the trip that we've been looking forward to, BANGKOK !! but its now like back to reality. But nevermind..we've had a great time shopping.

We've spent our 4 nites at this hotel called PJ Watergate. It might not be well-known to others, lucky for us that we knew that area well. So everytime we took a cab, we will tell the drivers our destination is "Indra Regent Hotel" (that's the hotel we've stayed the last time), and we'll walk back to our hotel from there.

This time we went to a lot of places like Platinum Mall, the 4-Faced Buddha and not forgetting Naraya!! Everytime we went, will be like coming out with a few bags. Naraya is like our new favourite now..from Central World outlet to Pat Pong...we will spend 1 hour shopping inside. Ah lee ..oops its Robert Jimmy Lee, will assist us with all the Naraya carriers..!! And he's definitely enjoying it.

Bangkok..famous for their thai massages. Our friends here have been going like every night to the newly opened Thai massage palour (maybe because of the young and good-looking 25-year old boss). Me and B were like psycho-ed to go for foot spa the last nite (yes, we dun like massages).

I've tried to upload the pix..but i duno for some reasons, cannot. So if anyone of "US" is available at home for some spare time, please help to upload le..I'm starting work on Friday, will be busy already..u think i'm always so free meh?!?!

Well, it's another ktv-ing for "us"..though it's only 4 of us, we still had great fun singing and taking pix..Pui's latest K song = 新不了情 (with his own style of singing)..it sounds okie, not too bad..jia you 杨宗伟 wannabe...wahahaha :D :D

With all these, we've ended the nite of singing...okie..let's look forward to our holidays on 26th Jan !!! hoorrAyYy....

1-Day Getaway @ Muar - Alwyn & Ivy

Though its not a group outing..but i wana share with you guys the day we've spent in Muar (btw if you've no idea where's Muar, its in M'sia). Alwyn & me woke up at 6am in the morning after the late nite mj-ing with the other 3+1 lan du guis (pui, lee, b & my dad) because we have to reach M'sia custom by 7am. The whole journey took about 2 hrs of driving, with like a break halfway through at some "stopover" place. Please see below for more pix :D :D

Me n V went to check it out , guess i'm too bored at home and V was conveniently waiting for ang as well so , dinner seems to b an option jus rite..

Yes the boring town again.. neva seem to fail as a place where many a times we wil end up being at , anyway we did try 2 entertain ourselves , haha , pre-shopping practice b4 Bangkok man.. all the way V was like "can find in bangkok, go Bangkok then buy, save money for Bangkok" i was denied the freedom to even think abt buying..... but then she's rite, y waste that money now when u can get almost e same n at a much cheaper price?? so save 4 now .. walked in to NUM , yes NUM n V saw tis lady n the tramp vintage tee real cute man, n e texture is jus so soft , yes u all guessed it, Bangkok came out again.. i myself when to try out a cool clue tee which ended up being a victim of "peeping v" wah lau snap pics when i'm changing la ..

Next stop ishop haha , and also the many attempts 2 zhi pai again , but turns out all the pics r chui chui man..bummer...

anyway we were like talking abt iphones n itouch over dinner man, the ingenious functions and sleek design .. oh god , its totally alluring man.. So end result , we planned on buying one each mayb during our bdays.. guys u noe wat to do heh.. save more ah , its gonna cost u ..hahaha *wink wink

Toast to a new year, getting older ppl

Ain't gonna c many people here as some due to e many parties ended up sick and some insane enuff to join the marching crowd on the countdown at esplanade..

whereas some of us jus hmm.. enjoyed a simple one at hm wif e TV and some entertainment of cos, one of our many MJ hahha..

Didn't start off as expected la, ganna "tua" by all i was made to wait dwnstairs while e owner of e flat is stil not back at e designated time of 10pm sharp!!! lucky i had my book wif me else i guess i wld have made lots of noise on it hahaha.. thats me

anyway Pui was thoughtful enuff to actually buy bottled alcoholic drinks , one each to kinda cheers 2 e new year , quite cute i must say , merticulous ... no wonder a gd husband 2 b !! hah soon after they started on my taboo game of BINGO using MJ tiles can u imagine, its fun la but den i dunno y i keep losing since this game was invented by the LAN DU GUIS..

Oh oh did i 4get 2 intro a new member to e grp ....presenting ..... drum rolls ..... "Bunchie" AKA "BAN JI" hahaha cute huh..

Bad news people, we all got older by one, haha not that it can actually stop us from doing our usual crazy acts as you can see, at the present we are still living much like a teen haha, but in a more lavish way i guess.

Its been a long way down till now and i'm glad that very few still pretty much survive being together. Now then i really understand the feeling of having a "home" outside home, the feeling of having you guys as company thru my life has ever since been good, okok its more then jus a good alrite... happy now.. haha

But anyway as i was saying, i wanna show my greatest thanks to all you guys , i've had a wonderful 11 years well spent and i hope i can have another 11 more n after that 11 more n 11 more n 11 more n 11 more n ....haha i intend to go on like more more ...

For you guys who r like soon getting married , you are so not running away from getting ur kids to b my godson\daughters man, don worry i won't make them clones of me, i doubt you guys want it as well.. gonna drive you nuts . Alas thanks for the year guys, we didn't really use much thanks in our conversation huh.. so a big one now THANK YOU, all the best in your future undertakings , ok mine as well, and start having those new year resolutions pinned up guys as we're gonna embark on another year wif 'US' ..

Pui's 'BIG' Day

This is interesting..memorable..Chalet K @ Changi Village. Wah lau I tell u its like a haunted place la , and wats worse, jus behind us OLD CHANGI HOSPITAL , thanks man. Well, its big..but doesn’t look very “clean”..Pui and B have to check in earlier, bought food and snacks for the 3 days stay, and cleaning up the whole place , n who else to b e Maria.. B n Pui . And they weren't the only ones there, yes the mosquitos as well..

Yes as usual b4 the party started we had a “Zhi high” session at e fitness corners playing our rittle games.. Hmm..nothing is ever good up our minds..Played like a timed game for walking through the thin bar without falling..the one who took the longest time will have to do star jump on the pebbled/ stoned ground..Fang was the last !! hahaha. All got high by the pebbled ground, inspired the HK game show hosted by Eric Tsang and 2 partners, we were to piggy-back another and run through the ground with the shortest time..it was painful !! Poor guys L (the piggy0backers) Girls were lucky though J (the piggy-backees)

Our Clubbing Nites ----> Winebar, Zouk & Why Not

Besides singing, "Us" do club (sometimes)..Places that we usually hang out will be like Zouk and St James (Rf only). We've tried a few attempts of planning clubbing nites to St James but sad to say..we failed.

We are definitely not too old to club..usually the reasons (or excuses) we gave for not clubbing are like "huh..ST James..so far..location not convenient leh"....or "Wed nite Mambo ar? Sure packed lor..and club until wat time? Tomorrow no need to work is it?"

BUT...giving excuses for not clubbing is not everytime..there are times where we clubbed quite often (see below pix). 1 good place "Why Not" at Tras Street where Billy worked. What drove us there will definitely be the drag shows every Friday nite. The performances were entertaining....

this was rather memorable, especially to fangz i guess , cos its her 1st party with us. And yes, she's trying her best to impress us she's a girl at heart haha she baked us cookies , eh u need more den this to make us call u ger hahaha.

The place was all atas la, nice place and all but guess Lee wasn't so sure about it, he was like "whats on e menu ah " pengs.

The nite ended in a fun note of bowling , and yes the usual fued between LEE n PUI.. Boring....

Acting as tourists, we bought like a day tour in Sentosa, to attractions like The Underwater World, Pink Dolphin Lagoon etc etc with back & fro tix for cable car (Lee's virgin ride on a cable car).

A little history about "US"....

Back in 1995...we are just strangers till we come together at Braddell Secondary School (which dosen't exist now i guess). The members from Braddell: Xirong (Pui), Ivy (V), Weiling (Fat), Billy (B), Zhiqin (Zq), Zhenda & Yun. Some of us were classmates since 1995, and we knew some from our ECA (AVA).

Sometimes, things are so funny..we used to dislike someone (pui) back in the old days (because he was so beng and so irritating and annoying), however he is the one who is staying by our side till now, 2007 (and many more years to come).

As time goes by, more members came into the group..Shumei (SM - Pui's gf), Jimmy (Lao eh), Rufang (Rf - Jim's friend), Lee (B's friend), Alwyn (V's bf), Kris (Rf's bf) & Yvonne (Zq's gf).

The craziness, the trips, the birthdays, the outings, the mahjong sessions, the thematic parties we've had, the bitching sessions etc etc..you can find it all here..the journey of "Us" begins here...
